Hourly rate

The amount of time the engineer/tradespersons has taken to carry out the work will be charged to the customer 

Any time incurred obtaining materials for the job at hand is all chargeable time and must be paid on completion of works 

We only charge for time related to your work lunch breaks and for any reason works have to stop will not be charged to the customer 

Fixed price works-

The total charge of the job will be provided to pre agreement of works, any further issues found or manifested in that time will come at extra cost as may have not been foreseen 
 

Cancellations and re-arrangement

If you need to re-arrange a date of of pre-agreed works, we require at least 48 hours notice before our scheduled visit. But please endeavour to let us know of re-arrangement as early and as quickly as possible.

Please note if the 48 hour notice is not abided by you will be liable for any time and materials incurred by Near me. This also includes any profit that may have been made.

Regarding cancellations, if a deposit is paid for a visit or re-agreed works, the deposit can be kept as this covers our costs in time and administration cost 

​

Please also make sure we receive notice of re- arrangement by phone call or in written email. We do not accept letters as proof of re-arrangement or cancellations

Guarantee

At Near me plumbers we are committed to provide you with a top notch service and excellence so you can experience of working with true professionals.

We will provide works with a 12 month guarantee , If the engineer cannot guarantee these works it will be consoled with the customer and in writing to tell reasoning why and what we can do to get it guarantee 

​

We can also provide up to 25 year guarantee on cylinder and boiler installations But please note the gurnatee only is covered in respect with faulty workmanship only.

The guarantee will be provided on date of completion of works 

The guarantee will become void if;

- misuse or negligence of the appliance/installation 
- worked on, modified or tampered with anyone that is other than a Near me engineer/ tradesperson 

We will strictly not guarantee any work in respect with 

​

- blockages in drainage systems of waste 
- any installation of any time we’re the materials have been provided by customer as we cannot guarantee where the materials have been sourced or if correct 

​

All guarantees are provided if full payment is made by customer 

​

Payment 

​

We are a strictly payment on completion service and all costs must be paid on completion of works 

On agreement of works pre-agreed or estimated we will require a 50% deposit of Labour and materials is due immediately for us to be able to book in the further works 

​

We reserve the right to request full payment up from at our discretion 

Near me reserves the right to charge interest on outstanding invoices which remains unpaid of a month after date of completion of works 

This rate of 3% is allowed as the interest rate until full payment is made 

Whoever contacts Near me plumbers and pays deposit for visit will have liability to pay the remaining balance on completion of works 

 

Any good supplied by Near me will remain the property of Near me plumbers until the goods and Labour paid in full

We reserve the right to retake, sell or dispose of goods supplied by near me plumbers unless full payment is received.

Timekeeping

If any of our engineers/tradespersons get come to a customer and there is a delay of gaining access to proeperty/places of works required the hourly rate will start from when the engineer/tradespersons arrive and try to gain access

Rubbish Removal

​

if you as the customer require rubbish to be removed from site from works we have done at your property we reserve the right to charge a fee to remove the rubbish if you dont agree witht the fee we also reserve the right to leave it at the property/place of works for customer to dispose of the waste
